I personally cut them out as i find that the tags irritate my skin. Sometimes it’s impossible to get the whole tag add but in most cases i’m able to. If you want to keep the details about the fabric and washing instructions, you can consider creating a spreadsheet where you copy the details of the garment.

What do I do with them???
I especially dislike tags upstaging their presence on smaller scarves tied close to the face.
Depending on the manner worn, the labels cannot always hide in a fold.
I don’t like the ugly ragged edge they leave within a seam, (especially silk), if I cut them off.
More importantly, removing them leaves me without a fiber contect for proper cleaning and care.
